Dr. Nadia Adongo Fynn, President
Nadia Adongo Fynn was appointed Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs in the Office of the President in February 2017. She holds a BA in Gerontology and has trained as a Volunteer Coordinator in Counselling Skills Fundamentals for Loss and Life. She also holds certification in Crucial Conversation from Ontario, Canada.
Nadia has extensive experience in management roles in long-term care and volunteer coordination. She is passionate about community engagement and involvement and is a strong advocate for sports, educational, and wellness programs for youth, adults, and seniors. Nadia served as the Public Relations Officer of the Northern Ghana Cultural Group of Toronto and has organized fundraising support initiatives for neglected seniors in Northern Ghana since 2006. Additionally, she has organized and coordinated other fundraising initiatives such as Help the Aged Canada and the Multiple Sclerosis Society Walkathon in Ontario, Canada.
Nadia's remarkable track record of diligence, hard work, competence, and excellence in organizing programs and community activities has been recognized with several awards, including the Ghanaian-Canadian Courageous Women Award. She is committed to continuing her work with the Diaspora Affairs team to ensure that the diaspora becomes an integral part of Ghana's economic development.
